It was 3:25am when I woke up. Overcome with a rush of adrenaline and disappointment at the same time. I’m just one of many searchers who have dreamt of finding the treasure. But why do dreams have to feel so real? I was so close. When I gained my composure I started thinking, how come there isn’t a blog where people post what dreams they’ve had about Forrest’s treasure? So I’ll start. I was out in the woods searching when Fenn made his new announcement. The chase had gone on for many, many years and by this time Forrest was bedridden writing books. One day he must have sensed the end was near so he made another chase. In a particular park he hid a map with the location of the chest circled. Hundreds to thousands of people where there searching around the park. And like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory I was the one who found the map. I recognized the picture and where the arrow was pointing; it was a place I had passed earlier. So I raced down the hill. Ran across the castle (not sure where the castle came from). And saw the spot that was highlighted in front of me. So I dove into the river and swam across. I was surprised, because when I swam up to it and got a closer look it was a sewage outlet hidden behind the over-bush. I crawled inside the sewage tunnel knowing I was really close. It broke off into three separate paths, so I turned left. That’s when I woke up, it was 3:25am. What was your dream(s)?
DREAM #2 (2/11/15): Had another dream about finding the treasure last night. In the dream I had already given up the chase and was just enjoying the visit. It’s hard to describe, but I noticed a shrine that every one passed by. It’s entrance was blocked off and had signs reading, “No trespassing.” And then I remembered, “If you are brave and in the wood / No place for the meek.” So naturally I went inside. Inside there were all sorts of equipment, tools, and artifacts. Then suddenly, there it was sitting on a table as clear as day. The excitement soon faded when I opened it up. There was very little gold and jewels; just papers and tiny artifacts. I figured others before me had already taken the gold and this is what they left. That’s when I woke up.
